A Bit of Background
Troop 3 is the oldest, continuously run Boy Scout Troop on Long Island. We were first chartered in September of 1910 as BSA Troop 1 Smithtown, New York.
Troop 3 is sponsored by American Legion Post 833 JAMES ELY MILLER
Our troop meetings are held every Tuesday evening from 7:30pm to 8:30pm at:
Forest Brook Elementary School
299 Lilac Ln., Smithtown, NY 11787
(Location due to change due to COVID-19 restrictions)
We are part of the Boy Scouts of America. Locally, we are part of the Suffolk Council and the Matinecock District.
Activities:
